Battlefield 3: Armored Kill is the third expansion pack forBattlefield 3. It is due for release in September 2012, and was released for PS3 Battlefield 3 Premium Members on September 4th.

Features

• All-out vehicle warfare on four huge maps.
• Includes the biggest map in Battlefield history .
• Five new vehicles, including two tank destroyers (M1128 Mobile Gun System for US and 2S25 Sprut for RU), two mobile rocket artillery vehicles (M142 HIMARS for US and BM-21 for RU) and a Quad Bike.

Trivia

• It was revealed by a tweet that the expansion would not include any new weapons. This however has yet to be officially announced by EA. However in a gameplay video the M39 EMR was seen being used alongside the SMAW (similar to the M39 being on the kit selection screen for the engineer) making it possible that the M39 will be availiable to the engineer or even all classes.
• While the official name is spelled 'Armored Kill', the current poll on Battlelog has it spelled 'Armoured Kill', with "Armored" being spelled the English way.
• The expansion introduces the game's first winter map.
• The expansion includes Bandar Desert, the largest map in Battlefield history.
